Black wall!!!

We finally got around to painting our office.  It used to be a butter yellow (the paint color literally had the word "butter" in it) and the room felt like you were swimming in a tub of margarine.  I hated it!  So now one wall is a very dark blue and the other walls are a very light greyish-blue (using leftover paint).  It's a huge improvement but Elise HATES it!  She is actually terrified of it and although she looks happy in this picture, she hates going in the room and she kind of freaks out every time she has to pass the room in order to use the restroom or go to her room.  She is always talking about the "blue black wall" or the "scary black wall".  She is a little more jumpy now and whenever anything random startles here, she'll say "black wall!" and leap into one of our arms.  She says that the black paint does something like "door!  door!  door!" and I think she saw that the wind blew the door closed once, so she thinks the paint did that.  Oh well.
